Black on tires bleed through white letters
I purchased a set of BF Goodrich Radial TA. The black bleed through the white letters. Called BF Goodrich and they stood behind them and gave me a new set. Now the new set is doing the same thing. Why are you selling reject tires. I know BF Goodrich is aware of the problem. Until it's made right, I will not purchase or support your product ever again. Tired was very expensive.

Sidewalls blow out
I bought 4 last summer and only use in the summer months for my antique so I’ve probably driven a total of 8 months in two years yesterday I had a blow out the whole side wall came apart on a straight away on the right front tire. SPO
Junk tore, we're sorry to read this happened. The first step is to have the tire inspection by an authorized retailer (preferably the selling dealer). Have the dealer contact us with an inspection of the tire.

Save your money!
It only took a week after I washed the blue protectant off these tires for them to start turning brown. I had no idea this was happening to everyone until I started looking for ways to clean them. Before I bought these, I had a set of 15 year old Firestones and the RWLs would still get bright white with little effort. I had really high hopes for these tires and they failed miserably.

Raised Brown Letters
I am on my second set of 245/60R15's. First set were replaced under warranty due to the letters turning BROWN. Letters are bright white on day one. Three months later they turn brown and NOTHING (sos pads, sandpaper, bleche-white, Simple Green, kryptonite, unobtanium, brake fluid, isopropanol) can get them white. These tires are disgusting to look at and I am EMBARRASSED to drive wtih them on my 1975 Corvette. Can I have my money back please?

This is a photo of a very old tire that is poorly taken care of...probably not even highway safe, yet look at the lettering! Goodrich used to know how to make tires. The ones I most recently from them, and they promised their formulation had improved, still turned brown, and theres no bringing them back.

Brown Letters
If you like White Letter tires on your classic like my 70's Corvette, do not buy these! If you like brown letters then these are the tires for you! I found this has been an issue for years after my purchase.
74 vette, we're sorry to read you are experiencing discoloration of the lettering. RADIAL TA TIRES
Terrible brown letter color that gets worse by the day. They will not whiten up with any cleaner. A waste of money.

Great looks and reliability!
I've been a B.F. Goodrich tire fan, and customer since 1979. These P235/60R15's were just the right size and looks I was wanting to pair with a set of custom wheels. This set of tires replaced my previous B.F.'s that were 13 years old, and still had some tread on them. The Radial T/A is also a favorite at car show events. People love the raised white letters! I'm lucky I have 15" rims, since the RWL's are not available on larger rim sizes. 5 Stars!

Terrible Browning Effect
I purchased a set of these for my old pickup because I absolutely love the classic look. With that said, I cannot recommend these to anyone. Within only a few weeks of ownership, the raised white letters turned brown/yellow. It seems no matter what chemicals I use to clean the tires, the browning or "blooming" effect returns within a few days. I have had the tires installed for a few years now, but the blooming issue has not gotten any better. I have fewer than 2,000 miles on the tires, but will likely be replacing them with something else because I absolutely cannot stand the look.
